Core Responsibilities/Expectations:
Build out purchased vendor products onto our AWS infrastructure.
Maintain ongoing knowledge of software and hardware environments (including future releases)
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, take appropriate corrective action, interact with IT staff and vendors in performing complex testing, support and troubleshooting functions. Communicate and document findings.
Perform software installation and upgrades through infrastructure as code.
Monitor system performance and capacity through proactive alerting and monitoring, ideally with self-healing capabilities; report changes in usage.
Participate in hardware/software installation, maintenance and support and documentation of hardware/software logs and operating procedures. All through infrastructure as code
Manage security administration and deployments through infrastructure as code
Qualifications:
Experience as an AWS Systems Administrator for commercial off the shelf vendor products
Experience building non-cloud native vendor products in AWS
Experience in supporting 1 or more of the following products as a system/infrastructure administrator:
Informatica PowerCenter
Informatica Master Data Management (MDM)
Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
Informatica AXON
Experience building infrastructure in AWS using AWS CloudFormation Templates and deploying through CI/CD pipelines
Experience managing AWS infrastructure through CloudWatch, SNS, SSM, Lambda
Experience in applying scripting to on-premise and cloud infrastructure
Basic experience in OS Admin skills (Unix, Windows, Linux)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Solid time management and organizational skills, and detail-oriented
Must work well independently and in a collaborative team environment
