SAP/Oracle Solution Architect

Identify IT software trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology
Identify Client/IITB technical policies, standards and requirements that dictate particular alternative solutions
Evaluate alternative software solutions and recommend a chosen solution that meets clients business needs
Ensure the integration viability of all aspects of the chosen technology solution
Participate with members of the client’s Development Team in the planning and development of a replacement client’s front-end user interface Proof of Concept working model, utilizing the recommended solution by providing required:
Analysis of functional requirements to identify required changes in information, procedures and decision flows
Evaluation of existing procedures and of required changes to database content, structure, application sub-systems, and to the client’s data dictionary
Evaluation of input/output sources and planning of the technical design phase

Mandatory Qualifications:
10+ years experience within the last ten (15) years as an Application Software Architect
develop technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies, either for an organization or for a major Application area, to meet the business and Application requirements;
identify the policies and requirements that drive out a particular Solution;
analyze and evaluate alternative technology Solutions to meet business problems;
ensures the Integration of all aspects of technology Solutions;
monitor industry trends to ensure that Solutions fit with Government and industry directions for technology;
analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and Application sub-systems, and develop data dictionary;
define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within Application sub-systems, to external systems and between new and existing systems;
define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design Phase, and obtain approval of the system proposal; and
identify and document system specific standards relating to programming, documentation, and testing, covering program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions, etc.
5 projects with a minimum duration of six (6) consecutive months using SAP (Oracle Forms & Reports)
University degree or college/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided.
