Job Description:
Responsibilities include hands on developing design, testing, implementing application components and technical analysis support.
Able to work independently creating modules and testing, reporting on status, etc.
Duties include:
Working directly with the client to extract requirements and technical details.
Working independently as well as take direction from senior team members.
Report work status on a consistent basis.
Following coding standards and participating in code reviews.
Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and architects.
Proactively addressing potential risks ahead of time.
Delivers sound problem analysis and high-quality deliverables that address defined client needs.
Assists in the timely resolution of any technical or client service issues.
Coordinates and communicates activities with engagement management.
Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)
Requirements:
Hands On Liferay Developer with 8+ of strong overall experience in Information Technology industry that includes minimum 5+ years hands on experience in Liferay
Strong experience in Liferay DXP 7.x
Experience in developing portlets, Liferay pages and Liferay forms
Experience End-to-End implementation of Liferay Portal HTML, JavaScript UI frameworks
Good knowledge in java frameworks such as Springs MVC, Struts and Hibernate
Experience in Liferay development in JSR 168,286, OSGI standards
Knowledge of Liferay extension environment and how to develop various kinds of Liferay plugins are a must
Should adhere to development plan prepared by architects/project manager and guide team for any query in J2EE, XML, XSLT, XSD, HTMl5, AJAX, JQuery, and JavaScript
