Duration: 1 year contract with extension
Job Description:
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to design and develop application solutions that are secure, reliable and reusable tridion components.
- Design, develop and unit test application functionality, both within the Transmit Security platform, and in Tridion and Microsoft .NET.
- Work within a team environment to help solve complex business requirements while utilizing enterprise and industry best practices
- Work in coordination with our QA team to ensure all application code is defect free before being deployed to production environments
- Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements are met as part of application development activities
- Work in an agile application development life cycle with deployments to production every two weeks.
- Prepare technical design documents and participate in design reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide developer support for releases.
Experience and qualifications:
- 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience.
- 5+ years of SDL Tridion Content Management System Experience (Templating, Event Handler, Core Services, GUI Extensions, Workflow).
- 5+ years of .NET experience (ASP.NET, C#, WCF, .NET Core).
- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server / Oracle database scripting.
- 3+ years of web applications experience.
- 2+ years of GitHub experience.
- Ability to work within a diverse team of resources from strategy, creative, business and technical disciplines
- Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: design patterns and application.
- Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings).
- Experience in delivering software with a Test-driven development approach.
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment and multi-tasking as required and meet SLA/deadlines.
- Strong documentation and communication skills and experience with development and implementation of new processes.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of test-driven application development
- Experience with automation, regression, and performance testing
- Ability to design, develop, and implement large scale/complex software applications
- Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
- 2+ years of Agile experience
